Three authors will join on stage for a fascinating insight into their worlds at a famous, and exclusive, Melbourne venue — the Albert Park Yachting and Anglers Club.

Adam Shand is one of Australia’s best-known true crime authors, covering the underworld for local, and international, audiences. A journalist with more than thirty years’ experience in television, radio, print and online media; he is Crime Editor at Large for PodcastOne Australia.

Of Lawyer X, Adam says: “We know about 10% of what she was up to. Come to the night and you’ll learn all the things that weren’t in the Royal Commission.”

Tim Watson-Munro is a distinguished criminal psychologist who has been delving into the criminal mind for 40 years, looking into the psyche of serial killers, corporate psychopaths and cunning fraudsters.

He says, of Alan Bond: “My fondest memory was visiting him in a prison in West Australia where he was running ‘How To Apply For A Bank Loan’ and ‘Finance’ classes for the criminals. With the effluxion of time, the prison officers joined-in as well. Learn more on the 19th of February.”

James Nixon is a former Airbus A380 Captain, turned storyteller, who now investigates air disasters.

Of one V.I.P. passenger, James says: “The Prime Minister must have written his name on all the walls in the aircraft toilet. I spent twenty minutes cleaning it up, otherwise the Cabin Crew may have thought it was me!”
